Survive is a vibrant and growing charity offering a very attractive employment package to women who want to work with us to support women and children who have experienced domestic violence and abuse. We are a charity, we currently employ 18 staff, some full and some part time and we align our salaries and employment conditions to those in South Glos. Council. ….and Volunteering
Survive values the contribution made by volunteers to our service. We have a programme of training and support for each volunteer throughout their time in the organisation. Volunteers can get involved in range of ways. These are some examples:
• Supporting refuge staff to help with general duties in the refuges
• Working alongside a team member at one of our four outreach information sessions
• Offering your time to cover our support line at first point of entry to the service
• Joining our Fundraising sub group to help organise events or our communication sub group which looks at publicity and promotional work.
